What is transformational coaching?

Transformational coaching is a facilitative approach to help you get to where you want to be in life.

While coaching has been common in the sports and acting arenas for decades, it’s only in the last few years that it has gained widespread acceptance in the corporate and personal world. Coaching is a visible affirmation to yourself that it is time to change in a major area of your life. This could be career, relationships, health, behavioural… or whatever area is important to you.

In coaching, the coach works with the coachee to focus on the  agenda that you have for yourself and for your future. And if you haven’t got an agenda, it’s about helping you create one. For example, an agenda for who you want to be, how you want to live and how you want to work.

I use a coaching technique developed by Dr David Rock that is designed to accelerate human performance through a focus on why people behave the way they do and what they can do to change.
